New Delhi, August 03 (ANI): Amid the ongoing economic turmoil in Pakistan, PM Shehbaz Sharif showed eagerness to talk to India. Shehbaz Sharif desperately wants to talk to India provided that New Delhi was “serious to talk on serious matters”.He said, “With our neighbours, we are prepared to talk to them, provided that neighbour is serious to talk on serious matters on the table because war is no more an option. Pakistan is a nuclear power, not as an aggressor, but for our defence purposes.” Now, the US State Department backed Pakistan's Prime Minister’s call for serious talks with India. Supporting Pakistan’s PM call, US State Dept Spokesperson Matthew Miller said that “US supports direct dialogue”.Shehbaz Sharif also recalled the three wars between India and Pakistan that brought unemployment and poverty.Though the US supports the idea of talks between the two nations, India-Pak ties have been unstable for a long time. Though he is saying war is no more an option, he has given nuclear threats to India on several occasions. Also, Pakistan has been continuously emanating terror attacks, ranting about Kashmir which is an integral part of India.
