New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): ISRO Chairman, S Somanath on July 10 gave details of ISRO’s lunar mission Chandrayaan-3. He explained how this time ISRO has prepared for the lunar mission differently from Chandrayaan-2. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is scheduled to launch India’s third lunar mission to Earth’s lone natural satellite on July 14. Through this mission, ISRO plans to send a lander and a rover to the Moon. The Chandrayaan-3 mission is a follow-on to the Chandrayaan-2 mission, which ended in failure after the Vikram lander crashed into the lunar surface. If ISRO is successful in pulling off the mission, India will join the exclusive list of countries whose satellites have managed a soft landing on the lunar surface. There are currently just three countries on that list: China, the United States, and the former Soviet Union.
